Salisa International is an on-line Grocery business providing fresh produce from locally sourced agricultural farms in Saudi Arabia.
Their USP is their ability to provide freshly grown and nurtured produce, prepared, packaged and delivered directly to your home from their purpose-built fulfilment centre.
Their growth plan is born out of their desire to service a wider area of consumers within Riyadh and KSA. They plan to open physical stores that act as delivery hubs, collection points and also walk in shopping environments that enables the customer to choose their own produce and engage further with the brand.
Spaceworks Interiors were selected to work with Salisa after winning a tender process against 3 other well known design agencies. Our flexibility, experience in market and friendly no jargon big words approach won our client over! Kate hopped on a plane to Riyadh where she was met with an Abaya to wear, introduced to the city and taken on a tour of retailers and stores as examples to set the scene. After 2 days of learning the local market, the clients ideas and business plan - it was back to the office to summarise, set out the project process and deliver the design.
Our works included the space planning of the back of house function as well as the retail space and full 3D modelling of the interiors or two format stores and their exterior signage and graphics package. The design is a bold and punchy interior style, with a strong visual presence for a memorable and attractive visit. Things have been kept simple with clean lines, natural material finishes, square shapes and minimal fuss on the fittings to allow for the product to stand out in abundance.
Graphics on the walls remind the customer of the farm to fork notion, introduces the Maymon story - an opportunity to gain understanding, trust and loyalty with their customers and enforcing the mission to minimise travel and waiting times of fresh food to your plate.
